Biography
Dr. Khaled is currently serving Qatar University as an associate professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering in College of Engineering. Before this, he served University of Western Sydney for seven years as the Head of postgraduate programs. His research interests include secure software engineering, human aspects of cybersecurity, security metrics, intrusion detection, garbled computing, and cyber defense policy .
He was the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Secure Software Engineering from 2010 to 2017. He received his PhD in systems security from Monash University, Australia. He has published over 100 refereed papers and four books in cybersecurity. He currently holds three granted U.S. Patents for cybersecurity-related innovations.
He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
